You can now listen to the introductory talk to the new art/science collaboration at Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin) as  part of the Science Gallery Berlin initiative. 

In the first week of the "Earth" research residency  January 2023,  new artist in residence, the Swedish/Irish artist Niamh Schmidtke, talks with their science partner Dr Johannes Giebel - the keeper of  TU Berlin's mineral collection which has over 200,000 specimens. 

You can hear them here describing their different practices, and  NIamh's intended project with Johannes called Pulling Blood from a Stone which is part of  the Earth Water Sky environmental arts and science research and residency programme. The introductory talk is moderated by the curator of the Earth Water Sky programme, Ariane Koek, which is fully funded by Fondation Didier et Martine Primat.
